Tommaso Vianello in arte Tommy Vee è nato a Venezia il 21 luglio 1973, è un DJ, produttore discografico e socio della prestigiosa etichetta discografica AIRPLANE RECORDS.
La musica è la sua grandissima passione, e nasce in lui molto presto grazie a dei cugini più grandi che iniziano a fargli ascoltare brani di tutti i generi.
All'eta' di 14 anni si fa regalare un giradischi e da li prende forma il sogno e l’idea di fare di questa passione una professione vera.
Si avvicina a questo mondo per gioco, passando da P.R. a responsabile nonché gestore di un paio di locali, per poi cominciare a giocare con il microfono sino a che l’ambito delle disco e di altre situazioni come radio e manifestazioni varie non diventano in poco tempo la sua unica e sola occupazione.
Inizia quindi a lavorare seriamente come dj proponendo una selezione a cavallo tra acid jazz,rare grooves underground e house,e a 20 anni è già richiesto nei migliori locali del nord Italia.
Nel 1998 fa le prime esperienze come produttore discografico insieme a Spiller e nasce il loro primo successo internazionale: “Laguna e.p.”.
Il lavoro di produttore piace molto a Tommy, nel 1999, grazie all’amicizia che lo lega al dj Keller ed al musicista Sisco, crea il gruppo di produzione “Moltosugo”.Il suddetto trio da quel momento inizia una collaborazione esclusiva con Airplane records,nelle persone di Mauro Ferrucci e Frankie Tamburo.La collaborazione da presto i suoi frutti in termini di produzioni.Tra i primi ."Activate","Check out the groove",“Adizookaanag”,etc..per poi passare a Moony,Double Dee...
Suona nelle migliori discoteche tra cui Area di Mestre, Muretto e Matilda di Jesolo, Klub - Extra e Villa Barbieri di Padova e arriva quindi a Riccione a 26 anni affacciandosi così al panorama nazionale ed internazionale dei clubbing di rilievo.
Patecipa attivamente alla produzione di "Point of view"assieme ai DB boulevard, e di li a poco coproduce l'album di Moony ed il singolo "Dove", remixa Moby 2 volte, la hit "Fashinated" di Raven Maze,il classico di Green Velvet "la la land", alcuni singoli di Laura Pausini tra cui il famosissimo "Resta in ascolto", "Boogie tonite"di Tweet;produce poi "La serenissima","Stay" (versione vocal de la Serenissima che riesce ad entrare nella Top Ten italiana all'ottava posizione) e "I can't Get over you" (le due ultime hits sono cantate da Ce Ce Rogers storica voce dei Jestofunk e firmate Moltosugo e contenute nell'album "Finally").
Entra a far parte della scuderia di Radio Dee Jay e partecipa a diversi programmi radiofonici: "Discoball", "Selecta", "House Nation", "Formentera Sunset" e "Gorgeous", è vincitore inoltre nella sezione giovanile del premio “Web Italia 2004”, concorso che premia i migliori siti web nelle varie categorie.
Nel 2005 è in classifica con la compilation "Housterity" e l'album "FIRST"! di cui fa parte anche "Anthouse - Don't be blind", tormentone della stessa estate e musica dello spot delle patatine Pringles di cui Tommy è testimonial.
FIRST è il primo album di pezzi inediti del dj, un successo senza precedenti con più di 40mila copie vendute in 5 settimane e nella top 15 della Fimi: 2 volte al 5° posto una all'ottavo poi al 15° e al 14° gli consentono di ricevere recensioni nei migliori network radiofonici e tv e redazionali nei magazines più letti.
La lunga permanenza di questo album nelle classifiche di vendita per oltre 15 settimane in totale gli conferiscono la certificazione per il raggiungimento del secondo disco d'oro!
A Dicembre 2005 esce anche l'album "Finally" firmatoT&F VS Moltosugo, ed è con i vari remix, come quello di Laura Pausini o con "De fact" cantata da Moony che le consente di partecipare al Festivalbar, che continua a dominare le classifiche.
Seguono poi nel 2006 altre sue compilation sempre mixate: “Tommy Vee Presents X Anniversary”, in occasione del 10° anno dell'Airplane Rec., e l’attesissima compilation estiva "Tommy Vee selection vol 3” entrata in classifica come del resto il suo singolo "Lovely" (Tommy Vee vs Andrea T Mendoza).
La popolarita' raggiunta,gli permette di girare l'Europa,talvolta spingendosi fino agli Stati Uniti.Da Riccione a Mikonos,da Miami ad Ibiza,dove per tre anni e' resident della serata Gorgeous presso il mitico Space.
Tale e' il livello di popolarita' che viene realizzato perfino un profumo col suo nome da una importante azienda di cosmesi “Vee is Around”, il primo realizzato da un dj che stima più di 30.000 pezzi venduti e all'inizio dell’estate 2007 per Tommy si aprono le porte di S.Siro; è infatti il primo dj italiano ad avere uno stadio tutto per sé per far ballare con il suo dj-set le 70.000 persone presenti in occasione del live di Laura Pausini!
A luglio con l'uscita della compilation house mixata “Gorgeous Ibiza”, prodotta e distribuita dalla Universal Music, firma i singoli “Over and Over”con l'amico Diego Broggio, "Old Skool Generation",con il" fratello" e socio Roy Malone(aka Mauro Ferrucci) ,e “Serenade” assieme all'amico Scumfrog
A fine 2007 Tommy torna con la sua personale playlist “Tommy Vee Selection vol. 4″, due CD, come sempre con uno House mixato con gli ultimi successi da ballare e l'altro Classic con brani, di quelli che non bisogna dimenticare, a lui molto cari.
Nei mesi a cavallo tra fine 2008 ed inizi 2009, si dedica al pop italiano nella veste di remixer : per Paola & Chiara "Second Life", per Lorenzo Jovanotti "Safari"(top ten I-tunes italy per settimane) , per Marracash "Badabum Cha Cha" ,per Gianluca Grignani "Ciao arrivederci rmx" per J-AX "i vecchietti fanno oh".
Ed ancora collaborazione italiana con Tommy Vee & Roy Malone vs. Planet Funk "Lemonade", remix dal sapore "estivo" che richiama a gran voce il suono house dei primi anni 90.
Produce il nuovo singolo di Moony"I don't know why",che impazza in Brasile,Portogallo e Spagna,recensito e suonato da tutti i migliori deejays del mondo e, a fine estate 2009 ,nuovi remixes per "Stay",tra cui Nicola Fasano,Jerome Isma ae ...che danno nuova vita al classico.“Durante l'estate 2009,Tommy e Roy diventano regular guests del famoso party "laTroya" presso il club Amnesia di Ibiza, e ne curano anche la compilation.
Continua la sua attività di dj anche nei suoi dj set il sabato notte nel programma House Nation su Radio Deejay e in tour, richiesto nei migliori locali della penisola confermandosi dj resident al Peter Pan di Riccione per il 2009-2010 e nelle maggiori località turistiche europee tra cui continuano ad occupare un posto di primo piano la Spagna e la Grecia.
Tommaso Vianello, aka Tommy Vee, was born in Venice, Italy, on July 21st, 1973. He is a DJ, a record producer and an associate of the record label RECORDS AEREO.
Music is his great passion. He was introduced in music very young by his older cousins who made him listen to any kind of music.
When he turned 14, he was given a record player as a present and from that moment he started thinking of making his passion his profession.
It all started as a game. He has been a P.R., manager of few clubs, vocalist, until discos and radio have gradually become his regular and only job.
He started to work seriously as a DJ, proposing music between Acid Jazz, Rare Grooves and House Underground. When 20 he was already requested in the best discos of north Italy.
In 1998 Tommy started his experience as a record producer with Spiller. Their first international success was born: “ep Laguna”.
Tommy likes very much his job as producer, so, in 1999, he creates with his friends DJ Keller and Solo the production company "Moltosugo". The abovementioned trio started an exclusive collaboration with Mauro Ferrucci e Frankie Tamburo, of the record company “Airplane”. This collaboration will soon give its first results: the first were "Attiva", "Check out the groove", "Adizookaanag", then came Moony, Double Dee, etc.
He plays in the best discos, as the Area in Mestre, the Muretto and the Matilda in Jesolo, the Klub, Extra and Villa Barbieri in Padua, then, at 26, he started playing in Riccione, having thus the opportunity to appear on the national and international scene.
He takes part to the production of “Punto di Vista” with DB Boulevard; soon later he will co-produce Moony's album and the hit "Dove"; he remixes Moby twice, Raven Maze’s hit “Fascinated”, Green Velvet’s classic “Maze”, singles of Laura Pausini, including the famous “Resta in ascolto”, and Tweet, with “Boogie Tonite”; he will also produce “La Serenissima”, “Stay” (vocal version of La Serenissima, which enters the Italian Top Ten at the eighth position) and “I Can’t Get Over You”. These last two hits were sang by Ce Ce Rogers, voice of Jestofunk, produced by Moltosugo, and can be found in the album “Finalmente”.
He enters the family of Radio Dee Jay and will take part at different radio shows: "Discoball", "Selecta", "House Nation", "Formentera Sunset" and "Gorgeous". He is the winner of the “Web Italia Prix”, newcomer’s section, which awards the best websites.
During summer 2005 Tommy enters the Top Hits with the compilation “Housterity” and the album “FIRST”! This album includes “Anthouse – Don’t be blind”, 2005 summer hit and jingle for the Pringles advertisement, of which Tommy is the testimonial.
FIRST, his first album with new songs, immediately hits the charts by selling more than 40.000 copies in 5 weeks and entering FIMI’s Top 15: twice 5th, once 8th, then 15th and 14th. It also received excellent critics by the best radio and TV networks and by the editorials of the most read magazines.
This album remained in the charts for over 15 weeks in total and allowed Tommy to be awarded with the second Golden Record!
On December 2005 the album “Finally”, produced by T&F vs. Moltosugo, comes out. This album, with the remixes of songs of different artists as Laura Pausini, or with the song "De Fact" performed by Moony (it will participate to the FestivalBar), which still today hits the dance-floor.
In 2006, other remix are produced as: “Tommy Vee Presents 10th Anniversary”, in occasion of the 10th anniversary of Airplane Rec., and the summer compilation “Tommy Vee Selection Vol. 3”, which entered the hit list, just as his single “Lovely” (Tommy Vee vs. Andrea T Mendoza).
With the fame he gained, Tommy Vee travelled around Europe, and went even to the States. From Riccione to Mikonos, through Miami and Ibiza, he was for three years the resident DJ of the “Colomba”, and at the “Space” he was known as Gorgeous.
His fame was so big that a big company produced a perfume called “Vee is Around”, the first realized for a DJ who sells over 30,000 albums. At the beginning of Summer 2007 Tommy will play at the stadium San Siro of Milan, in occasion of Laura Pausini’s. He is the first Italian DJ to have an entire stadium where make 70.000 people dance.
In July 2007, Tommy will publish with the House Compilation “Gorgeous Ibiza”, produced and distributed by “Universal Music”, singles as: “Over and Over” (with his old friend Diego Broggio), “Old Skool Generation” (with his homey and associate Mauro Ferrucci, aka Roy Malone) "Serenade" (with his friend Scumfrog). At the end of the year Tommy will publish his personal playlist: “Tommy Vee Selection Vol. 4”, a double CD, one with the latest hits mixed in a House version, and another with some oldies, dear to him, which should never be forgotten.
Between 2008 and 2009 he concentrated on Italian Pop and remixed songs as: “Second Life” of Paola&Chiara, “Safari” of Jovanotti (a top hit for weeks in Italy), “Badabum Cha Cha” of Maracash, “Ciao Arrivederci RMX” of Gianluca Grignani, and “I vecchietti fanno oh” of J-AX.
With the 100% Italian cooperation between Tommy Vee and Roy Malone vs. Planet Funk, “limonata” comes out. A summer remix which recalls the sound of House in the early 90’s. Tommy will produce Moony’s new single “Io non so perché”, which had a great success in Brazil, Portugal and Spain, And is played by the best deejays in the world. At the end of summer ’09, he produced new remix for “Stay”, mainly Nicola Fasano and Jerome Isma AE, which gave new life to the classic. During Summer ’09, Tommy and Roy become regular hosts at the club “Amnesia” in Ibiza, and they realized the compilation “LaTroya”.
Tommy continues his activity as a DJ: on Saturday night he works for Radio Deejay at the programme “House Nation”, and he is often on tour in the best discos in Italy, confirming to be the resident DJ at the Peter Pan in Riccione for 2009 and 2010, and in Europe, mainly in Spain and Greece.
